Jury picks BioSpectrum
2009 awardees
The Jury for BioSpectrum Awards 2009 met on October 23, 2009 at Dr
Samir Brahmachari’s office at CSIR headquarters in New Delhi.
In keeping with the BioSpectrum tradition, BioSpectrum Person of the
Year 2008 chaired the publication’s 2009 Awards
Jury. In the one-and-a-half hour meeting that followed the
jury deliberated on tough decisions.
The Jury: Dr Rajiv Bhat, Prof & Dean, School of Biotechnology
JNU; Narayanan Suresh, group editor, BioSpectrum; KV Venugopalan,
president, Waters India; Dr Jasmin Patel, managing director, Fidelity
International; Dr Samir Brahmachari, DG-CSIR; Dr BV Ravikumar, CEO,
XCyton Diagnostics; E Abraham Mathew, chief editor, BioSpectrum.
